A Sincere Thank You...

To all the people on DU who have welcomed me here. I am leaving the US to return to the UK after twenty years, and I can say that I am impressed and encouraged by the intelligence, optimism, fight, courage, and humour of the people here. You truly are a community and family, and I will continue to post here even after my departure. Bless each and every one of you...

have BBC 1 and 2 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 3 and 4 on the weekends, but don't feed them any sweets...

My friends and just about everyone in Europe know that most Americans are horrified, as do I. My main reasons for returning are that I've dealt with quite a bit of loss in the last year, and I have also grown tired of dealing with the hostility leveled at me by Immigration and Homeland Security. Almost all of the UK would vote for Obama, if they could.
