3. I went on a date with Maureen.
I met her at a birthday party for Tito Jackson at the hotel I was staying at, The Sunset Hyatt. I was invited because my birthday was the same day.

Good lord, she was the most scared-of-everything-and-everyone human I have ever met. Eyes darting every which way, unable to carry on a conversation...just sad.

I am delighted she has found some peace in her life. She didn't have any, apparently, on my 21st birthday.
