Sarah got booed at a hockey game? Think about that
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 04:02 PM by NNN0LHI
I go see the Blackhawks once in a while and there are very few black people there. Like maybe none? Those were white people booing that freak in Philly.

Thats a good sign.

1. Sarah hid behind her children (Bristol and Piper) and still got roundly booed.
Heaven forbid anyone be discourteous to her kids, huh? :puke:

3. Sarah is no candidate for 'mother of the year'.
She's a coward and sick using her kids like that. It borders on child abuse.

8. Bristol or Willow?

I've been trying to find out which daughter that was. Another DUer mentioned that it was Willow when I asked about this on another thread.

9. Can't be certain, but it looked like Bristol (Levi's squeeze) to me.

17. As I look again, it DOES seem that it was Willow and Piper, not Bristol.
Sorry.

4. To be fair it was a Philly game
I suspect a lot of people booing were just living up to expectations. (The whole 'City that Booed Santa Claus' thing')

Now if she got booed at a NASCAR race that would be a news event.

6. Nah, Philly fans are very particular about who they boo.
You have to do something really egregious, like be a Cowboys fan or Santa Claus to get booed - if Santa had been wearing a green and white suit, he wouldn't have gotten booed.

12. Her handlers are idiots, hockey fans ARE NOT Nascar fans.
Flyer fans are not for sale, unlike the owners.

Precious was smiling and waving like she was in another pageant, except her t&a didn't impress anyone in Philly.

13. They should've made it a special night for the woman who won.
She ended up being both a prop a footnote at her own award ceremony.

And that's just one reason to say:

Boooooooooooooooooooooooo.

14. I know, did you notice they were CHEERING for her before Moose Slaughterer Barbie was introduced?
I felt bad for the real hockey mom.

15. Yep
Then they turned off the crowd noise and pumped in the music to mask the boos on the Philly cable station. Didn't work. I guess they forgot the game was also being shown in NY, and that this is the age of youtube.

16. Doesn't Mean As Much As You Think. Politically, The Crowd Was Probably The Same % Ratio As Polls,
and Philly fans also boo just about anything. So all in all, it was a dumb calculation on her part to even think it would work for her. Of course she was going to get booed loudly. It was a no brainer.

19. That isn't the significant thing
The main thing is hockey is a non-political event, these fans are here to see a game unlike a rally where cheers are expected. To get booed at an event from fans there to see a game is significant.
