The angry right wing will riot after the election. The left might too.
If Obama wins the election, the angry right wing will riot in protest, probably on the pretext of voter fraud. The ACORN story seems to be setting the stage for that.

If McCain wins, the Democrats will be compelled to challenge it on the basis of election fraud. If they don't they will lose all credibility as a party. If they do, the angry right wing will riot claiming that the left is trying to steal the election.

If McCain wins and the activist left percieves fraud, the left itself might start burning things.

The economic meltdown is pouring fuel on what promises to be an explosive situation. I can't help but think that cooler heads will not be prevailing, and that we all be facing some severe struggles in the weeks ahead.

I guess this is kind of like a crystal ball prediction thread, but I don't feel wrong in suggesting that everyone stock up a little extra on food and necessary stuff like prescriptions for the weeks ahead. It promises to be a bumpy ride.

3. Let them riot - Then they'll get a taste of what the "police state"
here in fascist America does not only to innocent protesters, but to rioting republicans. They'll just have to learn the hard way. They deserve first hand experience seeing what their stupidity has done, after all they don't believe us.

4. I think the Right pretty much is aware that it looks as though Obama will win.
They won't feel as though they had the rug pulled out from under them, as we did the last two elections.

I think of McCain wins, we are far more likely to riot because of election fraud.

7. If McCain "wins"
we need to have plans in place to shut this country down...no business as usual until it gets corrected. As it stands right now, there is no way that McCain could be winning, just based on the electoral map alone. I see HI, WA, OR, CA, NM, CO, MN, IA, IL, WI, MI, PA, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ, DE, DC, MY, VA, and at least one vote from ME as totally safe that equals: 279 it takes 270 then there's the likelihood of NV, NH, NC, MO plus the other 3 votes from ME which is another 38 (307 total) and Obama has an outside chance of GA and IN and 1 vote from NE that's another 27 (334) I biggest hope besides of course getting elected in a landslide would be for him to win AK and AZ but that's huge stretch.

9. In theory I totally agree (and honestly don't see how they could swing a
victory) But in reality, the people of the country would be more focused on getting their paychecks (while they last) to pay their bills and feed their families. I don't see people willing to do something that would ensure even more uncertainty and discord. As much as they might want to, they'd just be trying to survive.

5. The right won't riot.
They're wimps. They like to scratch up cars with liberal bumperstickers in secret because they're chickenshit. A few might whip out their guns and try to take down some liberals. Other than that, most will be their usual ugly selves and will continue to lie about liberals and liberlism.

The left will definitely riot, because if McCain 'wins', it will be because of vote theft, and they'll try to spin it as, 'I guess most Americans just couldn't stomach voting for a black man.' I swear to god they detest anyone who isn't white, and want to smash them down with an iron fist, and if this happens, no liberal worthy of that title will let it stand. It will be civil war.

no thanks. I'm sick and tired of being told to, and then being more afraid of living than dying.

11. I don't think so. Some of my family members are rabid right wingers, but they
view protesting as a "lefty" "commie" activity and would never make their politics public, even for something justified.

The right wing will crack a beer after the election and mope in their easy chairs.
