Gergen on CNN: Rove has to testify, Gonzo gone. He's astounded
the wh hasn't addressed this whole thing yet; "it not only makes them look incompetent, it makes them look like liars."
:wow:

Good thing we know they're both! Gergen's coming around to that idea. If this admin stalls on Rove 'fessing up', we know there's tons to hide.

5. He said it during an interview segment with Cooper
And that ain't the half of it.

Calling them incompetent and all manner of stuff.

2. That is a tasty little quote coming out of the mouth of David Gergen.
Wasn't it just a week or so ago when he asserted that this was a relatively scandal-free administration?

I bet not many DUers thought he knew what he was talking about.

On Gonzales, he's back on track a bit. Incompetent liars indeed.

11. Of course it's scandal free if you don't investigate anything.

14. and that - my friend - is exactly how its done
Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 10:24 PM by faithnotgreed
both your comment which is perfect but also the whole not investigating and seemingly not curious about ANYTHING

on edit - and the fact that gergen just said last week that this administration has been relatively scandal free tells us just about everything we need to know about washington in a nutshell (literally)

7. I want the obstruction of justice charges on Rove and Alberto
That is exactly what they did by their removal of "certain" judges. Firing Lim for prosecution against Duke Cunningham is really chicken ----.

10. Why should he be 'astounded'. Just look at the way these incompetent bastards
lied us into war and the resulting debacle.

There is nothing in boy bush's life that he has touched that he hasn't 'fucked up'.

This time it was our Country!

Except on Tuesday.

all these US Attorneys getting fired and I thought.."yeh, what else is new?"

No way I thought they'd ever be held accountable!

19. "Gonzo gone"
Gone? Gone where? Wasn't he supposed to testify before the House Judiciary Committee this afternoon?

If the Attorney General didn't show up, he's in contempt of Congress. It's possible the committee could issue an arrest warrant for him.
