1. I have no doubt whatsoever that the FBI is doing exactly that.

The Justice Department is a sewer now, thanks to Bush.

2. They knew going in they had no quid quo pro.

And they clearly have no documentary evidence. ALL they could get is Rezko, in return for a lighter sentence, SAYING that there was an agreement. That is so weak I don't think it could ever make it as far as a grand jury, let alone a trial.

Don't kid yourself, the house deal always stank. BUT REDOLENCE IS NOT EVIDENCE.

All they have is innuendo and their word just isn't good enough anymore.
