Had to LOL today.......thought I'd share

Was driving along a heavily traveled street here in (mostly RED) DuPage County, IL. It was total 'YARD SIGN WAR!' Obama/Biden, McCain/Palin, neighbor-to-neighbor, sign after sign, property-line to property-line.......and as I was thinking how 'dizzying' and un-productive this mostly was, I saw.......

KUCINICH banner! Not a yard sign ~ A BANNER!!!!! something like 5' X 14'. It was AWESOME!



It made me smile.

That's my story and it's true! Just like Kucinich! :love:

1. I had my Kucinich bumper sticker on my car for 2 years after the 2004 election,

and sometime in 2005, my neighbors (who I didn't know at the time) noticed me in a neighborhood restaurant, and introduced themselves. "We saw your Kucinich sticker on your car. We're Libertarians. We always vote for the losers too." I just sort of laughed it off. (This year they had gigantic Ron Paul signs on their house, until about 2 months ago).

6. that's funny. i was in naperville today and drove down a couple

blocks where all the yard signs were obama/biden and then one freak had a mccain sign out.

it looked so weird--even my daughter commented on it. as if they just had to spoil the view or something. talk about fucking outnumbered! it was great.

8. Here in Orange County, NC

(Chapel Hill) predicting election results based on yard signs is worthless. Never in the history of the Republic has Orange County ever gone Republican. Srsly.

Still, I walk two four-mile courses in different neighborhoods every week. In both, every house but one has an Obama-Biden sign. The two houses with McFailin signs look like freaks. Like they went to the wrong store to get their signs or something.

9. On my purse strap I have my Kucinich above my Obama button.

No one has questioned me about this. I/We are surrounded by stupid people.

I reply to "I like your Button!!" with a thumbs up, pretty smile, and no questions asked.
