Care to speculate on the primary intention of Obama's prime time TV slot?
Do you think it's simply to offer a final close look at him, and his policies, for the voters?

Do you think he has something extraordinary to unveil given the current economic crisis and intensity (vitriolic hatred) of the McCain campaign?

:)

5. Hey, Grannie... :)
Not sure if that means you don't have any thoughts, or if you don't know what I'm talking about. LOL.

He bought primetime TV slots for October 29th. I don't think we've seen this since Ross Perot. It's very cool. :)

7. Absolutely. Given how well he has run his campaign....
on a consistent basis, our money has been well spent, IMO.

Excellent candidate, excellent human being, excellent President.

9. Probably one big positive message for voters!
He probably wants to remind voters that they have an important choice in this election. Do they want to support hope and look toward the future, or support hate and look toward the past.

14. Closing The Deal
Many people I've canvassed and the in the corporate media still keep wondering "what does Obama stand for"...or "how will he help straighten this country out". You can't get these answers in a 30 or 60 second TV spot or even in the trunicated "debate" formats. He's taking a page from the "old school"...back in the 50's, 60's and 70's, all the candidates would buy large amounts of airtime before the election to spell out their platform. I can still recall the night before the 1968 elections, each candidate had a half hour to make their case.

Personally, I believe the networks should provide at least an hour of FREE airtime to all bona-fide candidates (10% of the vote or more) to be used the week before the election to spell out their platforms and make a clear and direct case to the voters.

I think it's great Senator Obama will be doing this...reaching out to speak one-on-one.

15. If I was him, I'd be using it to urge us to elect a Democratic Congress.
There is a lot of work to be done, and it's time for fun and games in Congress to be over.
