1. People who "TRUSTED" in our system dutifully contributed to their IRA;s/401Ks
and now they tell me IT"S WORTH NOTHING??!?!? I've worked and contributed all of these years for NOTHING!?!?!?!

AIG Goes our and parties? How can they even sleep with themselves? Really?

2. Poor people are not represented very well here or anywhere really
They don't have computers and Internet connections. They are lucky if they have a grocery cart with their stuff in it.

They are invisible.

Any one of us could find ourselves in the same position.

3. Agreed
The worker bees such as myself are just that and no more. We are cogs in the machinery and easily replaced. When you work 50+ hours a week, spend your time off with family, keeping up your house and doing all those boring things that are "life's overhead", you don't have time to build a back-story such as mountain top adventures, or sitting on charity boards, etc. That combined with the sheer number of worker bees, just make us an uninteresting group that in this case watched his 401k drop 36% + since the first of the year, with not that many years left to rebuild it if in fact that can be done at all.
