I'm mad, and I'm really mad
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 10:21 PM by bigtree

It's not the economy. It's the right-wing taking over our country.

Let me finish please.

When you have a McCain, Bush, and the rest of the hooligans up there gonna run this country we've got to have our head examined. It's time that those who are representing us, and we are mad.

Why is McCain where he's at? Everyone is stunned. We are all a product of our associations. Is there not a way to get around this media and line up the people whom he is associated with?

I doubt that anyone here has taken, pardon me, the ass-whuppin' that I have taken for supporting Obama. I believe that in the next coming debate it is absolutely vital that Obama take it to McCain and hit him where it hurts. The 'U.S. Council for World Freedom' is out there, we have Rev. Hagee and Pastor Muthee, all of these shady characters that surrounded him. I am begging.

I can't stand to look at him, I don't trust him. I don't like the circle of friends he keeps, I don't like his policies. I'm pissed off by it. I'm beyond mad. How is he anywhere in the polls?

It's not just anger. It's frustration. There's millions of people around the country that think like we do. The press refuses to acknowledge that, and they insult our intelligence by misreporting the information.

And this is all about patterns, and I’m going to talk about the patterns. And I’m sure some will say, ‘Geez, you’re getting kind of negative.’ No, it’s not negativity, it’s truthfulness, and American voters deserve to know.

I can't pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel full. But we're in dangerous territory when mainstream media isn't asking all the questions. I am like you and wonder, too, when will the questions be asked, and when will we get the answers?

Our opponent is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he's palling around with money-grubbers who would steal from their own country. It's really important for Americans to start knowing who the real John McCain is. I'm just so fearful that this is a man who does not see America as you and I see it.

John hasn't told the American people the total truth on that about his associations: when, where, and all the questions that are finally being asked about the association with the unrepentant lobbyists who run his campaign who did collect millions to help Fannie/Freddie Mac and AIG duck regulations.

There's a long list of McCain aides with past ties to the lending companies: Charlie Black; Wayne Berman, deputy campaign finance chairman; and Mark Buse, chief of staff at Mr. McCain’s Senate office, Rick Davis, Mr. McCain’s campaign manager . . . Arther B. Culvahouse Jr., the VP vetter who helped John McCain select Sarah Palin, earned $80,000 from Fannie Mae in 2003 and 2004, while working for lobbying and law firm O'Melveny & Myers LLP. In addition, Politico reports that at least 20 McCain fundraisers have lobbied for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, pocketing at least $12.3 million over the last nine years . . .

It’s fraud, the connection to Fannie, Freddie and AIG, …it’s fraud… doesn’t anyone have a conscious anymore ?

ALL of the dialog in this rant was taken from McCain/Palin crowd comments and from their own inane patter . . . albeit with some revisions.

It's really bizarre to hear these folks complaining like their man and their party haven't been the ones running the country into the ground. They are truly in another zone.)

1. They live and work in their own information Bermuda Triangle for sure.
Now, they want to bring up Obama's admitted drug use? What are they doing? Going down a list of all of the things that THEY could be vulnerable to and projecting it on Obama? I mean, come on ... don't they think we will then talk about his wife stealing drugs from her charity? :wtf:

5. Good juxtaposition, bigtree. You're absolutely right. The corporate media are going after
McAnus more now than they ever have, but they are still giving him a pass.

Tonight on CNN, Gergen and Rollins were talking about how BOTH candidates are playing SO DIRTY. I was going WTF are you guys talking about!! Then Paul Begala, my new hero, set them straight. NO WAY is Obama playing ANYWHERE NEAR AS DIRTY AS MCCain, he said.

But that's RARE.

Does anyone know the deal on McAnus' association with the radical anti-war Vietnam activist that worked with McAnus on Vietnam reconciliation? I read a post or two on it a week ago but cannot find it again. I think his name was Ishfill, but I can't get a hit on the Google or the DU search.

Maybe Obama is going to do the nasty on them when he does his two thirty-minute shows later this month. I really wish he would do something to slap the bullshit out of McAnus and Fertilla the Huntress.

P.S. Did you see Gergen coming down on the McAnus-Palin INCITEMENT of the ULTRA-REICH WINGERS? He was speaking truth about that.

8. It's bizzare to listen to these complaints
. . . when we KNOW who's been at the head of the destruction of our democracy and our economy.

These folks are lying or seriously deranged (or both).
