The country is crashing around our ears
Do you think we will divide to North and South again?

6. With the prejudices and the election
and the market collapse...we will wake up one morning (sooner than later) and our country will be different from the one we had the night before.
It wouldn't surprise me to see the country break into smaller, more sustainable regional countries...we could call them Texasstan, Oklahomastan, Arkansastan...etc

9. If only
Californians would be much better off if we were our own country (actually, I wonder if the coastal states -- east and west -- should just shake loose the rest and become our own Republic -- I'm sure Canada could be prevailed upon to let us sneak through to the other side through them lol).

But I don't see it happening (unfortunately) any time soon.

3. Nah. All we need do is sell off Texas and Florida and expand Lake Erie
to encompass all of Ohio and Indiana and we'll be fine.

4. No, I think we are more likely to divide into sustainable vs unsustainable areas if
we find ourselves in another Depression.

(This is not to say that the prejudicial stuff coming out in this election is not scary, but I am seeing a bigger problem in the long run when it comes to being able to provide for our families.)

7. We might see more totalitarian forms of fascism reappear on the world stage.
They will not call themselves fascists. They will come carrying the message that they can correct things and make America great again.

11. North to south? What about Alaska? Montana? The Dakotas?
What if Virginia, North Carolina, even Florida vote for Obama?

It's much more complex than north/south.
