Yet another TOTN whitewash. Ohio voting machine hijinx just "conspiracy theories."

Today TOTN broadcast from Athens, Ohio, and talked with Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. The issue of a stolen election in 2004 came up for about two seconds. Brenner dismissed any such thing explaining the letter signed by Diebold's CEO Walden O'Dell, saying he would do anything to get Bush elected, was "unfortunate" because it inspired all kinds of conspiracy theories and that's where that ended. No follow up. Then the discussion went on to voter fraud for about five minutes, because obviously that's such a huge problem. Stolen elections? Not so much.

Funny Brenner didn't mention the recent developments in King Lincoln v. OH Sec. of State. Federal District Court Judge Algenon Marbley's September 19th order states:

"On motion of the plaintiffs and agreement of the defendant Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, the stay in this matter is lifted for the sole purpose of permitting the plaintiffs to take the deposition of Michael Connell and any other witnesses whose testimony, in the judgment of these parties, may be warranted based upon the deposition of Michael Connell."

Connell, of course, is the GOP cyber expert who's suspected of having rigged electronic voting machines to take votes from Kerry and give them to Bush.

Why does NPR have such a problem reporting the news? Didn't anyone on TOTN's staff know Brenner is involved in this case? Isn't the fact that Karl Rove might be compelled to testify about his involvment with Connell rate as news, either?

Move along, nothing to see here. Liberal media, my ass!
