10. I just saw a clip of him at his hate fest today
Good grief, his face is all LUMPY.
Big 'ol lumps EVERYWHERE.
He looks like a chipmunk that stuffed too many walnuts in his cheeks.
Something is seriously wrong, "my friends, er...my prisoners".

9. In some ways, I feel bad for him. My mom is 76 and each day she tells us
how much she dislikes getting old. The aches and pains and uncertainty. The doubts and confusion. And the relishing of the days that go well for her. Trouble sleeping, unsteadiness stomach aches, back aches. Worries about falling. Eyes going bad.

So as much as I dislike McCain's de-mean-or, and certainly his policies, this has got to be a tough time for him. It's probably affecting those around him too. But oh well, we all make choices. I do have some empathy for the old guy though. But only because he's a person suffering in this world, like so many others.

11. McCain hired the same goons who spread lies for Bush that McCain had a black illegitimate daughter
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 02:09 PM by NNN0LHI
McCain hired those same goons to go after Obama.

And you have empathy for the piece of shit that would do that?

15. Only as a person suffering. Not for the person he is. I believe there is a distinction.

16. Yes, I'm sorry when anyone suffers
But he chose to put himself through this campaign.

It's a reflection of his own bad judgment that he presumed he was up to the task when perhaps he is not.

12. Good point. McCain seems like a really OLD "73" though. Does he exercise
at all? My brothers are in their late 70's and look (and feel) way better than him. I know he went through a lot as a POW but even people in wheelchairs and paraplegics can exercise and (if you are able to do so)the more you do the less creaky you are.

Yoga is, especially, good for fighting the "creakies" and you can get a real simple DVD from the library.

14. broken arms
I heard a newscaster (I think it was Chris Matthews) say that McCain has crippled arms from being tortured. Not true. He broke his arms in that plane crash (the fourth or fifth?) that dumped him in enemy territory. It could be that the arms weren't properly set but the enemy did not break his arms torturing him. I am so tired of the great hero McCain crap. He was hotdogging in his plane when it caught up with him and he got captured. He didn't behave particularly heroically while in captivity. He gave it up. What is so heroic about that? Is every soldier ever a POW ready to be president? Other than those arms he broke himself, he creeps around because he's 72 years old. Does every 72-year-old deserve to be president?

17. He needs to take care of himself.
He needs to get out of the race and go to a hospital.
