One of my bosses said - McCain is worse than Bush, and Palin scares me
let me preface this by stating this boss said he has never voted democratic, has been a republican all his life, then he expressed regret at voting for bush - twice, and said he never imagined things would be so "F**ked up this bad"

we were in a meeting with a website designer, going over downloads/graphics etc for the site. webdesigner mentioned he's seeing a slowdown at his end in terms of his clients upgrading/redesigning exisiting sites, asked if the economy was effecting us

my boss said yes, mentioned the recent layoffs, and since we sell large manufacturing equipment - there's a slow down in sales because companies can't get loans to purchase the large equipment

I tossed in that any turnaround in the economy is going to depend on who get's elected. Webdesigner said - "mccain and palin is just more of the same"

that's when my boss expressed his regret and followed up with "i don't like either of them, but mccain is worse than bush and palin is scary. I'll hold my nose, vote obama and hope for the best"

9. My guess is that there are a lot of people out there like that
who got played- and are coming to realize it.

McCain and Palin aren't just more of the same- they're even more clueless and cynical.

Not only is McCain not up for the job- flailing about, sounding like Peter Lorre- but his running mate is essentially an Amway distributor, with all the petty posturing and vindctiveness that goes along with rising to the top of a pyramid scheme.

I mean really. It would be strange if people weren't having a bit of a reality check.
