Poll question: While anything is possible, do you think they'll steal it this time?
Yes, there have been shenanigans. Sure, some bad operators are about. And anything is possible.

But what do you think?

1. Seriously, do you think they want it? This will be an incredible mess
to clean up, and they made it.

there is no way they want to hold either the presidency or a congressional majority when things really collapse.

My guess? THE REPUBS HOPE a Democrat in the WH for the next 4 years will accomplish three specific things:

1. Force the Dems to bear the brunt of Public outrage at the situation to unfold over the next few years (banking on the short memories of the general public when it comes to assigning responsibility).

2. Attempt to ensure that another minority American never assumes the presidency, by spinning the tough-choices and hard times as the result of an Obama presidency.

3. Hope to achieve a death-grip on government by fomenting the two previous scenarios.

This is what I believe they hope for.

President Obama is gonna need all of our help and support to ensure that none of these things happen.

4. With Obama 11 points ahead, the test for whether or not the election was stolen will be . . .
. . . if the Big Mac wins, then we will know it was stolen.

They wouldn't dare bother.

6. Criminals will do anything...
...to get what they want.
This is, in effect, a illegal ruling junta.
They do not want to leave.
This has every indication of turning very ugly.

8. Prep Work: "Pollsters facing election's perfect storm"...
WASHINGTON - Will the 2008 election be polling's "perfect storm"? Pollsters rarely say it in so many words, but when they compare notes these days, worry is the prevailing theme. Three big challenges loom that threaten to throw off survey estimates for the matchup between John McCain and Barack Obama.

George Stephanopoulos, the host of ABC News' Sunday morning show "This Week," summed up pollsters' concerns with a list of "three different undercounts" that he attributed to Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart. This year's polls, he said, "may be undercounting the number of young people who are going to vote," they "may be undercounting the African-American turnout" and they "may not be capturing those white voters who just won't vote for Barack Obama because he's black."

14. I hope you're right-- I think it comes down to, who master-minded
the stealing of the 2004 election? Was it bushco repugs or just repugs? If it was bushco repugs, that may mean that they did it only because of him. And bushco repugs don't like mcpain, so why should they help him? If it was run-of-the-mill repugs, it would be a different story-- they will steal it from any Dem. At least, that's my theory, FWIW.

I used to sadly conclude that we'd never see another Dem president-- hope I was wrong!!!

18. Perpetually with those who think they are Democrats, as opposed to...
the elitist scum that thinks they are Republicans I will continue to play the game
and vote Obama/Democrat.
As for, do I think they'll steal it this time? I have long thought that, in what is essentially a one party system, my vote/the election is ALWAYS stolen.
That's how this peasant sees it.
