McCain, in the debate: I'll get Osama bin Laden, my friends. I'll get him. I know how to get him.

McCain to Wolf Blitzer: "And I know how to improve our capabilities so that we will capture Osama bin Laden or, put it this way, bring him to justice . . . We will do it. I know how to do it." (7/27/2008)

McCain to Charlie Gibson: "President Bush had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. I know how to do it and I'll do it. And I understand and I have the knowledge and the background and the experience to make the right judgments." (9/3/2008)

so, why hasn't McCain shared this special knowledge with Bush or the Pentagon?

2. Really? Why didn't he tell Bush, if he knew how to get him.
He's full of crap.

But you knew that.

3. When did he say those things to Blitzer and Gibson?
Because the way it came off last night during the debate, it sounded as if Obama had already given the best answer so instead of agreeing with him McCain became petulant: "I know what to do but I won't tell you." Were the quotes to Blitzed and Gibson before or after the debate?

5. In that case then I have to agree with you
McSame is Bush** all over again, putting his political career before the nation's security. Appalling that anyone running for president would think that's acceptable behavior.
