I notice that these guys have something Gonzo doesn't.

They have integrity. They would never be Bush toadys like Gonzo is. They want to be able to look their kids straight in the eye and say to them that they always did the right and honorable thing. Gonzo can't. Gonzo is an embarrassment to the human race.
