But people still do not know Barack Obama?
I have watched him closely for over two years now and I feel like I know him very well. But we continue to hear right-wingers say that they do not know him. Why?

These same folks that criticize Obama are the same ones that embrace Sarah Palin. This is the same Sarah Palin that has been on the scene for about 4 or 5 weeks. Nobody knew her. Very few Republicans that come on the talk shows had ever met her. Yet, they pretend to know her very well. Why?

Just a thought...

7. Value-based religious elitism.
With the simple similarity of values determined by religious beliefs, these people truly believe that they are in good company with any of their peers, be it after a lifetime or an hour of acquaintance.

8. Republicans
have an almost innate obliviousness to their own hypocrisy. It is probably a defense mechanism which helps them to continue living their lives as "Good Christians" while supporting hate filled, greedy, and morally bankrupt people and policies.
