1. No surprise there. What a concept - a candidate that actually gives a crap about nonmillionaires

6. I do!
He is winning votes with that. :loveya:

McCain has no clue! Town Hall ... hmmm ... sort of sounds informal. Good chance to talk to people, even afterwards. Just another example of McCain's poor judgment.

7. No shit, it is so cool....
Where did McCain go? I can't get the grin off my face. Daughter just called and was beside herself with excitement. She thought Obama was Great.

Poor McCain, I can only giggle when I realize how he "failed"....

12. Can you believe only C-span is showing the Aftershow!!!
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 09:59 PM by lyonn
It is better than the debate. No McCain around, huh??? giggle again. He failed beautifully...

Didn't notice Michele's dress, only her smile. Those two are great. I feel so good. Haven't felt this positive in years. It feels like a weight has been taken off.

11. Tactical error on Mccain's part.
Ceding the stage to Obama....dumb play. The camera's were still rolling for 10 minutes after the debates. People got to see Obama and Michelle in a very relaxed and informal setting, people getting their picture taken with the Obama's....he really connects with the people. McCain blew them off.

14. Did you stay long enough to see the group photo?
McCain and Cindy left after shaking a few hands but the Obama's talked to every single person there. First everyone stayed seated, but soon everyone was asking if they could take a picture with them, and it wasn't long before everyone was standing and surging quietly towards Obama until he was in the middle of the entire group of people who obviously liked him. No one except McCain left. And it looked like no one was going to leave until Michelle and Obama were taken out of there.

That's something we don't see on regular TV because the pundits are too busy doing their knee jerk reaction.

McCain just looked old to me. His back is bent and he was trying to be spry and funny and falling flat on both counts. And he kept rolling out that "My friends" crap of his. And his pointing his thumb over his shoulder at "that one" was pretty shoddy.
