Rove: Attorney scandal ‘a lot of politics (video)

Karl Rove was asked about the U.S. Attorney purge during an event today in Troy, AL. There was no talk of “mistakes” made or actions not “handle properly,” a phrase White House Press Secretary Tony Snow used today.

Instead, Rove repeated the false ‘Clinton did it too’ line several times, and concluded: “This to my mind is a lot of politics, and I understand that’s what Congress has the right to play around with, and they’re gonna do it.” Watch it:

Of course right before that he says they were all replaced on the years. DOES anyone know a source for finding out one way or another. I suspect he's lying (as usual).

I can't help but laugh. It is also sad that is all they have to fall back on. I heard a cspan repuke caller say that the reason republicans bring up Clinton on this attorney firing deal is because of the hypocrisy.
