It went around that there would be a simultaneous Euro-US-Japan move on interest rates tonight, and that made it all shoot up on a broad front the final hour. If this actually happens, there will be a bounce and then they'll be back to selling off by Tuesday close, Wednesday latest.

Interesting aspect of the "buyer's strike" - very low volume for these moves.

Seriously? What is it you're hoping for? My father hoped for a revolution when he was in the CCC. What he got was a watered down socialist program and a return to power of the tycoons.

The worldwide economy is in freefall and the politicians, to cover their asses, apply a very expensive band-aid to a gaping wound while still giving the Pentagon 600+ billion of our dollars. And, then load up the same bill with pork.
