13. Several things I'd like to point out about The Keating 5.......

Keating was from...... ARIZONA...... He was McCain's benefactor when he 1st ran for the US House. McCain wasn't just one of 5 corrupt senators but the ring leader. Keating was also a good friend of Cindy McCain's corrupt father. Her father was a gangster and a convicted felon, BTW. They did real estate deals together before the meeting McCain arranged with the 4 other senators to get the regulators away from Keating's Lincoln Savings & Loan.

5. just brilliant--they set such a trap for the McCain campaign

Goad them into going ostentatiously, proudly, never-before-seen "negative" because they're so atrociously behind in the polls, and then, well, your only choice is to pounce with the truth you held all along but were waiting until just the right time to launch. Now Obama's seen by the press, whom he must have on his side, as defending himself. Reminds me of that scene in Braveheart where the Scots wait until just the last moment to lift up their spears (thereby impaling all the innocent horses). But the English get it too.

While McSame now tries to spin it as positive ("I cooperated fully..."), he seems to miss the point that the judgment that led to this behavior is alive and well in his voting record since then.

I have also posted "Third Term" from Progressive Accountability, but an an hour and fifteen minutes, it is having a hard time loading.
