3. The Repugnican Black Caucus Invited Her To Speak
...but they couldn't find a phone booth.

Wanna bet most the people who are at these rallies are there for the free food or "had to".

And you better believe these events are screened like a Hollywood casting call...probably more controlled than the dog & pony shows booooshie did in 2004.

Cheers...

6. They ship people in
I remember my very first protest under the Bush administration. It was for Philadelphia's 4th of July celebration - mind you this was BEFORE 9/11.

Now July 4th is truly a Philadelphia holiday since independence was started in our city of Brotherly Love and throughout the years I've seen some amazing speakers there including a few presidents & vice presidents (and my favorite - Thurogood Marshall). The area was open for anyone to join in and watch the festivities. But for some reason on 7/4/01, two whole months BEFORE 9/11, the Bush administration had the area secured off and only those with passes were allowed in to watch him speak, the rest were outside a secured fence that was covered so you couldn't even see what was going in there. Mind you, we were able to get a few peaks in there and of course what we would see on TV. And what we saw was a sea of WHITE. Now someone explain to me how an event in Philadelphia would have all white people - because I've been to Philly and it ain't all white.

:grr:

4. Naturally black?
No, only those who've spent thousands of hours in tanning beds.
