AP: "the government is rushing to develop a plan for spending the money."
"...it will likely be at least a month before funds are flowing" - What?

I thought this was a catastrophic emergency that needed fixing like 'yesterday'. And if they did not pass the bill, the US economy would die that day.

And, 'rushing to develop a plan?" What? Don't you think some sort of plan would be in place - or at least thought of. "Hurry hurry hurry - rush him to the hospital! He is in the ER and the doctor says It will be a month before we can fix you".

What a scam - they are like wolves, lined up at the fresh meat, drooling, waiting to dig their teeth into all that fresh meat.

Wow - another Bush Heist - $700 billion from the US Treasury.

Doesn't it bother anybody but me?

Paulson vows to speed rescue to financial system

By MARTIN CRUTSINGER and CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON - Signed and sealed, the $700 billion bailout now must be delivered.

After 14 days, three votes and billions of dollars in stock market losses to get the massive financial rescue through Congress, the government is rushing to develop a plan for spending the money.

Still, it will likely be at least a month before funds are flowing to ailing financial institutions from the bill signed by President Bush shortly after passing the House on Friday.

1. Sorry. I can't explain it to you...
I thought it was critically and immediately urgent or our economy could collapse immediately? I guess someone was not totally honest with us?? Surprise! Surprise!

2. Remember the SECRET meeting between Heli Ben, Paulson,
and Congress where, if we didn't do something NOW, the ramifications were too horrifying to say on teevee (Schumer)?

Now, it's been 2 weeks. And it's going to be a bit longer. Why the initial rush to unfettered riches?

When this election is over it is time for us to put the pressure on congress...hopufuly with a lot of new Dem's from the election...to pay for it with something like a sir tax on incomes over 1 million...
Lets get the only back from those who were enriched by it.
