It may take a month or longer to figure out a plan to spend this money..
Remember the urgency? One might think there was a plan in place to "save" the financial system after all the scrambling and fear generated this week?

But, it seems there is no plan. The money is there if they need it. But, if I were a Congressman that voted for this, I would feel somewhat betrayed this morning.

Is there another way to explain the immediacy of the bailout? Were we not told that the system might collapse if we did not get it done in the very first week? After the first week passed, the system did not collapse. This bailout does not give me great confidence in our Congress. It validates my opinion of this White House and Treasury.

2. Yes Indeed - Remember The DU Trolls Bombing Us With Fear Spam
The carpet bombing was horrendous and many caved under the pressure.

Regretfully we all sold our souls to devil for a false alarm.

We have become a group of Sheeple!

4. Is Paulson the only one who determines which financial
institutions are to be 'saved' and where, exactly, the money goes? I believe there's oversight in the bill that passed but I'm curious about whether or not Paulson has to report to Congress before he takes any action.

5. Well, I think it's already gone
Split up between the Saudis and the Chinese with the Bush Crime Family keeping their cut to split among the cronies who helped accomplish it all. Before the idiot chimp leaves office in January (if he does), there will another bailout on Nancy's spiffy clean table. IMO
