And let the nonsensical media rationalizations for an obviously (about to be) stolen election begin!

NEW YORK - Barack Obama's tendency through the Democratic primaries to perform better in exit polls than he actually does at the ballot box has some media organizations nervous heading into Election Night.

Television networks want to avoid having their performance become an issue for the third straight presidential election. Their political experts hope that experience gained during the primaries will help things run smoothly Nov. 4.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and The Associated Press pool resources to conduct exit polls in select precincts, hoping to glean information about why people vote the way they do and to help predict a winner or loser. A combination of actual vote counts and exit polls is generally used to "call" a state for one candidate or another.

Exit polls frequently overstated Obama's vote during the primaries by as much as 3 percentage points

Yes, Virginia, they are going to try to steal another election. After all, they got away with it in 2000, 2002, and 2004, and just maybe in 2006. Why wouldn't they try again?

McCain more experienced

Palin so charismatic and adorable

And then, The subtle inner racism that no one wants to reveal to pollsters - that will be one mentioned, _ YOU BETCHA!!

3. The other night, I watched the HBO movie "Recount"..
I have it on VHS and it was upsetting to watch, because not only did I know how the movie would end, I kept thinking about the debacle that was the last eight years, and how different things could have - SHOULD have - been. That was the worst.

We CANNOT let them get away with it again!!

4. Fail to acknowledge the Bradley/Wilder Effect at your own peril
3% is not in the least bit unreasonable for the result of that phenomenon. I am not saying it *will* happen. But there is no arguing that it *has* happened. No shenanigans. just people being people.

I am also more than certain the campaign is VERY aware of this.

And of the potential impact of cheating and mischief.

6. I've been worried about the same thing
I don't trust the polls. We have been robbed twice, I don't think this cabal will go quietly into that good night. There are too many bodies hidden. They can't take the chance that an honest attorney general will look into what is left after the shredding and burning of documents.

5. I've been talking about this since 2006
And it's likely to happen- When the Dems took over Congress, they told us they had better things to do than work on getting clean elections.

With a month to go, I've done all I can. If it happens and people act surprised here, I'll hit them.

8. I simply cannot imagine what will happen here if this election is stolen by the repukes...
Pitchforks and torches....I hope. Because I would not want to let them get away with it.

I am afraid that is why the govt has deployed us soldiers domestically...for the first time in us history.

U.S. Army To Be Deployed For Domestic Duty
According to the Army Times, beginning October 1st, the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team will be deployed within the United States for the purpose of "homeland defense". For 35 of the past 60 months, the brigade has been on active duty in Iraq. Now they're training in the use of nonlethal weapons and crowd control techniques. The paper says the unit may be called upon to help with instances of civil unrest as well as to assist in the "war on drugs". The brigade will be under the control of NorthCom--a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense and to provide defense support for various civil authorities. At first glance, this would seem to be a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. At the very least, it sets a troubling and dangerous precedent. Will the U.S. now join the list of countries where the sight of armed military personnel patrolling the streets becomes commonplace? Apparently so.

10. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.....
Now they have a reason to hack their own exit polls. And they are telling the media about it in advance.

Jesus wept.

11. Could it possibly be that exit polls don't mean anything ...
... because some people f*ck with pollsters?

Why believe exit polls? Just make sure there are enough poll-watchers.
