I am now totally unrepresented--I hope to return the favor in November

My alleged representatives just voted to give my tax dollars to whomever for whatever. I know that many reasons have been given for why a bailout was needed and it was allegedly urgent but I don't believe liars. And I don't believe irresponsible, incompetent people who allow catastrophes to materialize and then expect bailouts.

I am sickened that this whole thing went through. What's to stop the next bailout from going through when this money is also disappeared? We have basically just moved one step closer to helping Republiscum to fulfill their twisted ideology.

The Bush Administration professes to be against big government. What could be bigger than having government tell the people that they know what's best for the people? Didn't we call, write and protest to make our wishes known? And they choose to ignore us?

All I can say is, my representative won't be getting my vote next month.

Frankly I don't see any difference between the Dems and Repubs anymore. Very few in EITHER Party actually want to help the folks in this country. MOST are in it for the power to do nothing and to collect huge speaking fees, get book deals, and nice cushy jobs when or if they ever decide to retire with their awesome pay packages that are on par with some of the Wall Street CEO's Golden Parachutes.

They spend more time bickering on technacalities in order to come up with reasons not to do anything. They thump thier chests and say the other party is to blame for everything.

Albert Einstin once said something like : The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

I am beginning to thing the American public is insane. We keep voting the same people into office term after term expecting them to finaly work together and solve this countries problems each time.

If huge numbers of incumbents from both parties are NOT voted out of office, Nothing is ever going to change. We need to make the politicians pay more attention to the voters- not the special intrest groups forking over money.
