Saying one thing and doing another...
I was just over to my brother-in-law's apartment a couple of buildings over from mine. We were taking about the bailout. He's a conservative. We've had BIG blowouts over politics. And I do mean BIG!

So, we were sitting there watching CNBC and talking about how crazy Mark Haines is and how stupid Erin Burnett is. Then he goes "Who's that short-haired chick that talks like a man on MSNBC? What's her name? She's on after Keith Olbermann." I said "You mean Rachel Maddow?" he says "Yea, that's her! I hate that bitch!" I said "She's my favorite and Keith is my second favorite." He says "I can't stand either one of those idiots. They're one-sided. At least Fox gives both sides."

That went on for a couple of minutes. Then I said... "Funny how you know what they're (Rachel & KO) saying. Sounds to me like you watch them." And I actually busted him watching KO the other night. He says "Oh, I watch to see what the "other" side is saying."

I'm thinking he's moved to the middle and doesn't even realize it.

As of right now, I'm still processing the part about hating KO and Rachel. Even if there is some hope of him at least moving to the center, I may just have to dis-own him for that.

1. Persuade him to keep listening to KO
That's how I shifted sides. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I, once, was a member of the dark republican side. It was raw commentary like Keith Olberman presents that made me question a few things and look for answers myself. If I were you, I'd try to persuade your brother to keep "watching what the "other" side is saying". He'll come around.
