Yes, I hate Sarah Palin and here's why:

She's the poster child for so much that's wrong with this country. She's the lowest common denominator. She's thoughtless and unreflective. She's uneducated and in many quarters being lauded for it. She's anti-intellectual and a faux populist. I hate her retro-policy stances on women and her whacky religious views.

So, yeah, I hate her and what she represents but I don't hate her because she's supposedly so pretty (I don't find her so). I don't hate her because of her family.

If all this makes me an elitest eastern snob, hey no problem; I'll take it.

Sarah is a hateful person, which is a repulsive quality. And the very thought that such a hateful person could become vice president -- or worse yet, president -- is cause for concern. Her saying that she identifies with Dick Cheney was the most important part of the debate.
