I noticed they seem very distant with each other. Did anyone else think it was odd to give the little baby to the small girl instead of to her dad? Todd didn't even look at the baby.
To me it looks like the only one who looks at that infant with any feeling at all is the pregnant daughter. Strange family.

She smiles at her kids, but I don't see any affection. She passes that baby around to the other girls for them to care for him and when she does hold him, she pats him on the back rapidly. It makes me feel like she is impatient and that she doesn't like holding him. You think she has dicsonnected from her entire family?

that it was Todd that was on the ego trip. I believe he urged her to accept McCain's offer. He helps her run the governor's office, if he doesn't do it all himself. I have to reason to think that he would not attempt the same thing if she was VP.

grab her elbow when she exited the plane today. She was in heels, holding a baby on steep steps. Any other guy in the world would have made at least a slight effort to make sure his wife and 5 month-old infant didn't do a faceplant on the tarmac.
