The single most frightening moment of the debate...
When starting to answer the "Use of nuclear weapons" question, she spaced out a moment, and became nearly...rapturous...? As if a dream were coming true.

Added to by an odd comment she'd made earlier, an awkward slip (or intentional statement)...I don't remember it, but would be able to point it out if I were to watch a repeat. It would be telling in combination with the above moment which came later in the debate...Mmm...

Biden is correct, this is the most important election thus far in our lifetime.

1. Other frightening moment when she was speaking about the role of the VP and the flexibility of the
constitution. Gulp. She'll be a female Cheney

6. What percentage of Americas actually make that mispronunciation?
Was it a tip of the hat to Bush? A winky-winky?

8. Unfortunately, lots of people do now because of the moron....
...even my younger, extremely liberal, Bush-hating sister says "nucular". It's a pity.

9. My eight-year old son turned to me and said, "That's not how you say nuclear, is it?"
He was incredulous when I explained to him that she was mispronouncing it on purpose, so that she'd have a connection with stupid people.

11. Please give your son a hug and kiss from me!
All of my "kids" are furry and illiterate. I'd appreciate it!

18. I hate that one, but I REALLY despise all of the
"eye-rack" and "eye-ran" mispronunciations! Drives me bonkers. :banghead: :banghead:

7. Biden let her have it on that one! He got as close to angry as he did all
evening. Read her the riot act about the VP's Senate role as stated in no uncertain terms in the Constitution.

12. Was It Just Me Or Did She Miss The Point Of The Question?
I thought the question was about when WE would use "nukular" weapons. Gwen just let her run with it too.

14. She missed the point of every question.
Also I'm quite sure she didn't understand the meaning of Achilles Heel.

15. Interesting that you mention this...

I purposefully turned the sound down after that question, and tried to read her ...

first, she lookd off in the distance as if she was ready to ee her lord say : "yes! nuclear warfare!"

then she started to make the point, as she poke she became inflamed, gritting the teeth, curling the uper lip, angry...?
like a dog who bares their teeth...momma wolf, ready to strike

she not only wants to play the nuke card, she welcomes it!

:scared:

17. There were several contiguous frightening moments for me; she's convinced...
that if she just keeps talking she will eventually get her way, and she got a little like that poor young beauty pageant woman that knew all the connectors that didn't connect to anything just off the map sustained by the cadence of her own words...bizzare to witness in a person pretending to the offce of VP O'U.S.

20. I now remember the offhand comment that I was wondering about
which she said prior to the nuclear weapons question.

She said "Too many people". And smiled, IIRC.

Rapture THIS. I'm not ready, and it's not your decision.
