Todays Walk at The Park......

My wife walks daily at a City Park down the street. At the park there is a pond that is stocked with fish. When I tag along with her I let her walk the track and I go and visit the men that fish there. Today there was an 81 year old man fishing that I have never seen before.....we talked about the fishing and I shared with him what fishing in Washington State is like....after a short period of time I asked him if he ever went on a Charter cruise to Alaska, he said no but maybe he would after Sarah Palin and John McSame are overwhelmingly voted in in a few weeks then he asked me who I was voting for....I played him and said I'm still on the fence and I'm still deciding....I then asked himWHY SHOULD I CONSIDER McSame/Palinhe said cause Sarah is from a state that has a lot of sport fishing and she is a good ole church girl. .....any thing else????...no he said that is good enough for him....

I wished him good fishing and went on my way wanting to scream the fish out of the lake......One issue voters are not worth the hassle.

2. Hi there...I don't know if you saw Bill Clinton on "The View"
He spoke about just this issue: people who vote against their own interests for reasons that are hard to fathom (like because of personality over policy). I am just praying that they are in the vast minority!

3. that's ok
There's an old man that lives around the corner from me, about the same age that says "McCain's a dottering old fool and that woman he's got running with him doesn't have enough sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel"

sometimes these old folks will surprise you

4. I'd have thrown a stone into the water
and scared all the fish away from his spot, but that's just me.
