It’s going to get worse after tonight.

People are starting to realize that McCain is old and delusional.

Is the fix in? Are we going to have to stare at Hussein and Michelle for the next four to eight years as our Republic devolves into a Stalinist state?

We can hope and pray that the Senate GOP seats don’t drop below 41.

McCain doesn’t really want to win. Like Dubya, he wants the media to love him, which will never happened.

George Bush has turned the GOP establishment into a subsidiary of the Democratic Party.

we have to see whether we can hold to 41+ Senate seats. Right now, previously safe senate seats in MS, NC, KY appear to drift into danger territory.

If we lose them, things are bleak indeed.

This is all about the credit crisis. You can blame McCain all you want, but it is likely that had this crisis not happend (at this time), McCain is at least dead even if not ahead by a point or two.

McCain needs to say this at the opening of his next debate with Obama.

My friends, as you well know I have some problems using a computer due to severe war injuries I sustained as a POW in Vietnam. If you really want to know more about my opponent I simply ask you to google the following on my behalf before election day:

Jeremiah Wright Barack Obama

Tony Resco Barack Obama

William Ayers Barack Obama

Jim Johnson Barack Obama

Franklin Raines Barack Obama

Thank you.

23. Hey, when you have moved so far to the extreme right as the neo-cons have...
...even a traditional Republican like Eisenhower is considered "socialist".

The GOP have become cartoonish; a self-parody. You can't make this shit up...

This is the last phase of political evolution before their self-destruction.

25. They think the Soviet Union failed because of Communism...and equate Socialism with Communism
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 09:18 AM by YOY
I find it funny that it much like any other system that claimed democracy yet touted a single-party system it failed. The same can be said for their "republican revolution". A single party, always right, insult, persecute, or attack the opposition. They mirror "Stalinists" far more than they would care to admit.

47. I had a wingnut doctor associate of my wife's start lecturing me...
...about the planks of the "Communist manifesto".

(I corrected him on several points...)

When I asked him if he had ever actually read Marx, he hemmed and hawed around and changed the subject. :dunce:

Simply put "communism" as we know it was never the intended result of Marx's ideas because Socialism HAS to be democratic or else it turns into the disaster of Stalin's Russia. (Which, oddly isn't too far removed from Bush's Amerika.)

Capitalism, on the other hand, quite easily turns into tyranny if it isn't heavily, heavily regulated because it's natural end-result is Fascism.

BTW--This doc is a big-time neo-nut. He has copies of Newsmax out in his waiting area for his patients. Yuck.

I'm thinking of sneaking in and leaving some copies of The Militant and the Industrial Worker next chance I get.

15. He ain't peaking to late...
This is an unprecedented election. There has been so much attention placed on these people for the last 2 years...

I've been a participant in elections since 1976 and I have never seen anything like this as far as the hyper focus over the last tow years...

If Obama falls below 48 before the election I would worry.

But once he hits 50+ for more than a few days, it's gone, baby, gone....

They promote the "us" against "them" mindset, and they're all over the radio waves (and Faux News) all day long every day. They promote the hate, and get paid big bucks for it. They sometimes even have to take off their white pointy hats with the cut-out eyes when they go out in public, but you can hear their burning crosses in their voices.

Seriously, I think Freepers would be happier than a pig in shit in a country like North Korea. They get their authoritarian father figure who tells them how to think and what to do, and they get to work their shit jobs for almost no pay. They also get to pretend that they are powerful and mighty and a scary threat to the rest of the world. It's everything Freepers have been voting for for the last 30 years, and more.
