Amy Goodman's closing words on her broadcast on 10/01/08.

Now, that's justice.

1. Maybe if he had studied some actual law
Cuz based on his performance in office its pretty clear that he is not familiar with the subject.

3. Boz -- after seeing that, I figured out why Junior made him AG.
He SIGNED for the illegal wiretapping. BushCo figured if he WAS AG when the shit hit the fan, him signing instead of Ashcroft or Comey wouldn't look so bad. How dooya like that? :wow:

5. I was thinking the exact same damn thing.
Taking an oath to uphold the Constitution was never meant to be confused with loyalty to the President.

8. The whole Justice Department is now a sewer.
That guy that coordinated the Bruce Ivins FBI briefing to the public -- the now US Attorney for D.C. Jeff Taylor, he was hired by Torquemada Gonzalez and before that, he worked for Specter. They put him in that position because they knew there was NO WAY IN HELL he would ever convene a grand jury to look into anything -- not the DoJ firings, not Rove, not nada -- because he was part of it ALL.

We have no functioning DoJ right now.

21. How are they ever gonna be able to get rid of the Bushco career hires at DOJ?
The leadership disappears in January. We could be saddled with religious crazies in DOJ for forty years.

17. Well, according to Kitty Kelly's book the Bushes will drop you like yesterday's garbage ...
... once you are no longer useful.

And yeah, any good mobster woulda taken care of Li'l Torquemada better than that.

There's some satisfaction in seeing that somewhere justice is being done.

crimes in the near future. It wouldn't be good for their biz.
