on the internet that offer instant registration?

I am trying to register a friend over the phone. He is a trucker and on the road all the time. We tried rock the vote and obama's vote for change site. Those two didnt offer instant registration, you have to fill out a form and snail mail it to the elections office in here in north carolina.

1. I don't think so, as there needs to be an original signature.

So registration can't be submitted over the internet. At least that's how I understand it.

I will relay the information to him. He plans on registering Democrat this election. I guess he will have to go to the DMV when he comes back home from Virginia.
