Did anyone listen to Thom Hartmann today read from the old NY Times on the days leading up.....

And all of the action on the stock market on the days before the big crash, and Hoover's bone-headed plans to bail out bankers?
You could have replaced the names and dates, and it sounds almost exactly the same as what's going on now.

Listening to that gave me the chills. I had the 8 p.m. replay of the Thom Hartmann show on, and my father walked past and thought Thom was reading about the current mess.
"He meant to say President Bush, didn't he?" my father asked. I told him, no, he's reading from 1929 editions of the NY Times, but it's dejavu all over again.
