I get it now
you folks think that if a person is against the bailout they are republicans. ROFL. Come on, I want to make sure the money is there for Social Security and for Health Care. I want to make sure my granddaughters don't start out when they begin working with $80,000 in government debt. That makes me a Democrat!

1. Those against this bailout are treated like we are idiots who know nothing about
the govt or the economy.

2. The trick is how to hammer and belittle the bailout without hammering and belittling Obama
since he supported the bill. Just a reminder: he is our candidate for President this year.

3. Let's remember to thank him...
For putting us in that position by refusing to represent the people.

He has my vote no matter what, but my respect is another matter. A little bit of it was lost over this.

5. I feel the same way, and will be ready to hammer him...
...like I hammered the best Republican president we ever had. Clinton!

6. Maybe we could just do away with senators and representatives
and just have a national referendum on any important issue. I'm sure that would solve the problem.

4. Yes...
I feel like I am being berated whenever I make the statement that the BAILOUT is nothing more than helping the filthy rich - all the crap about Main Street is a joke.

We are screwed and the economy is fucked - throwing billions of dollars at it is like placing a band-aid on a slit throat.
