7. Except *I* didn't fail. I supported myself and my family, I never spent more than I had, I never

used credit cards, I saved up for things I wanted to buy, and I paid off my little house and 10 acres last spring.

I've lived responsibly and taught my children to be responsible. None of us "failed" anything. Why should we pay?
