Anyone know anything about the Broadband Data Improvement Act?
It's been approved by both the House and Senate.

Are we finally going to catch up with the rest of the world as far as broadband speed goes?

2. Whoa. Govtrack is weird -
saying that S. 1492 is also known as S. 49 - "Protecting Children in the 21st Century Act" brought by Ted Stevens which was loudly panned as a backdoor way for ISPs to spy on traffic (in the name of stopping child porn).
