America's getting to know John McCain- and they don't like him.
yes, a lot of voting is based on likability. What America knew about McCain just a short time ago is that he's a "war hero" and a "maverick". Now they're getting to know that he's mean, surly, petulant and has no leadership qualities.

Humans generally don't age well. Our minds begin to get screwy as we age. We don't think rationally.
