I just LUV how SUZE et al say: WE HAVE TO SAVE THE SYSTEM.
I'm talking about CNN's Cooper Show.

If all of us fail to bail out the economic titans, all of us are 'effed.

What Suze et all simply fail to comprehend is the fact all of us have been 'effed for quite some time and we will not suffer anywhere NEAR those who tailed the fat-cats. The fat-cats won't hurt, at all. Fat-cats have their investments removed OUTSIDE our country,...remember?

pfft

1. Suze's Credibility Is On The Line
She was one telling people to invest in this ridiculously over valued market.

3. Suze has a degree in social work, Not one in business or economics.

Beyond her most basic advice, I would take her opinion with a large grain of salt.

9. Exactly, all the investment gurus said even in
retirement you should have money in equities because they are an inflation hedge. Then last week she said if you are nearing retirement you shouldn't have been in the stock market anyway. Then they say don't panic don't sell the market will come back over time. Meanwhile the fat cats are jumping ship like rats and going into gold. When the market hits bottom guess who buys your 401k for pennies.

2. You think your "effed" now? Do you have a job?
If we don't do something soon, kiss it goodbye. And don't bother looking for another one - there won't be any.

4. Perhaps That Will Be Enough To Get Americans To Do Something
and to demand that Congress start taking us seriously.

So have around 40+ million others,...with or without trades certification, union affiliation (or not) or college-level education.

If we ever get back to honest reporting, we will discover the reported numbers pertaining to FEDERAL (NOT "national") stats about GNP, national debt, unemployment, etc. were antithetical to reality.

12. There might not be enough money in the world..
to save this shadow derivates market from imploding and bringing us down with it.

It's imperative that we invest that 700B wisely, not squander it in a half-baked scheme to delay the credit crunch.

7. She doesn't realize much of this because she and the other well-paid media pundits
live in this bubble world inhabited by other well-paid media pundits. It's a cushy, isolating life and so how could they possibly understand the realities of life among normal people?

10. Someone should have said this when Bush proposed tax cuts for the rich!
Saying "WE HAVE TO SAVE THE SYSTEM someday if we screw up, so let's save some money and shore up our economy instead of fueling a housing bubble with tax cuts to the rich" would have been sound financial policy!
