On the way home tonight, I heard on the radio that the Pentagon has now determined that there is a "civil war" in Iraq and they are now calling it that; they are saying it is an accurate description.

Um,duh! Sometimes I cannot believe the parsing of words that occurs by this Administration, this Government, and their ilk. I mean, seriously. So now that the Pentagon agrees with this assessment, then it is all of the sudden more valid somehow? Bull! It is what it is. It has been a civil war for some time now. The fact that this Government is slow, ridiculously slow, to see reality as other people see reality, indeed as most people see reality is quite unfortunate, to say the least.

Capt. obvious says, guess what, the United States is in the middle of a "civil war." Way to go W! Way to go Dick!
