The FED controls the money, right. And since they no longer publish the M3, and have total control over the money supply why not just do the following...

1. Print up $700 Billion in new greenbacks
2. Distribute on Wall Street
3. Liquidity problem solved overnight with no need for taxpayer involvement

Sounds good right? They did it for the Iraq war, why not this too?
