Great News for football bettors!! After the past weekend, when I picked...

USC, Georgia, Florida, Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Clemson and East Carolina to ALL WIN...

and they all got their asses handed to them...well, i kind of looked at the way things are going around everywhere...

and i called my short-term-investment-broker and told him that, not unlike the the wall street guys, though i had gambled and lost...

i figured i didn't need to pay up...in fact, i kind of thought the other wagerers could pony up some funds and get me back above the line...

i mentioned that i don't know why i hadn't thought of that before...it would make the bets a lot less stressful...and definitely less lifestyle-changing...




he thought about it for a while...well, a while in bookie time...and said he had considered the merits of my argument and came to the conclusion that he could see that i was, in some almost mystical way, astute and correct and had revealed a side of his business he had never considered...







and he gave me 24 hours to get even with him...or some guys i don't know and don't want to meet (his exact words) would come talk 'philosophy and economics and shit' with me...


so much for the bailout for me....
