4. Equities are overvalued
and the only question is what the true bottom might be. I say it'll be in the 7000 ballpark. Others on the board think the floor is above that amount.

Yes, we're all going to get clobbered together. However, it's the time we see how lefties always have the advantage. Rugged individualists don't fare too well. People who form co operative social structures do.

8. And Dems will be blamed.
After all, "they have the majority in Congress". And everyone knows that the whole country has fallen apart in the last 2 years.:eyes:

13. Opposing the bailout was never about "hitting conservatives"
At least not for me. It was a flawed plan that didn't address the true problems and would have been another huge waste of money, following the over $900 billion we've already thrown at it to no avail.

With or without the bailout, bad times are coming. We need RESPONSIBLE solutions, not crackpot Repub-sponsored plans that don't have a hope of working.

Many of us are already living the good life you describe. Hope of a bail-out came too late for us, hell, we're starting to adapt.

17. And you thought the BAILOUT would stop it? Maybe for a month or two.
But it would happen regardless of the BAILOUT.
