BREAKING! Sarah Palin meets with Osama Bin Laden

Newswire - Philadelphia - In an attempt to bolster her foreign policy credentials, Sarah Palin met Sunday with Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden. After determining there would be no preconditions for this meeting, the two met for tea and discussed several topics.

Afterward, Palin spoke to the press about their meeting. "I was surprised that we had so much in common - we both enjoy guns, religious extremism and hiding in remote locations".

Upon learning about the meeting, the McCain campaign released a statement retracting everything that Sarah Palin has ever said.

Bin Laden couldn't be reached for comment, but a spokesperson was later quoted to say, "Philadelphia might be safe. He really likes the cheesesteak".

When the McCain staff was asked why Sarah Palin did not turn Bin Laden over to federal authorities, or if the Alaskan governor was aware that Al Qaida is a group of Islamic extremists, McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds shouted, with a flurry of hand gestures, that the whole meeting was a fabrication of the godless liberal media. When presented with photos of Palin and Bin Laden outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Mr. Bounds first claimed the images were photoshopped, then insisted it was Tina Fey and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama with a fake beard. "He is a Muslim, of course, just listen to the ravings of Rev. Wright!" Bounds then reportedly fled the journalists with cell phone in hand. Records indicate he dialed his mother.

When reporters later contacted the McCain camp, they were told that the senator has suspended his campaign so he can "bring down Osama with his bare hands."
