1. Here's hoping that Sununu's voice is the first of a bunch of Republicans
soon to come.

The Attorney General can't explain away his sinister involvement in this set of circumstances. He tried for 9 minutes yesterday and sounded like an idiot.

7. He did. He sounded unconvincing. The little kid he was a long time ago
came through there for a brief glimpse, trying to tell the shithead he's become that he'd done wrong as a grown-up, betrayed the trust of a lot of people.

3. AX10 says that Sununu is afraid of losing his seat next year.
With that said, I agree that we need all the help we can get to rid the Justice Department of AG Gonzales.

5. Gonzales is toast. He is the latest administration proxy whipping boy
The administration is so unpopular that it is now forced to regularly throw someone for the crowd to tear limb from limb, to satiate their lust for justice and change, lest the crowd force their heads to roll.

They will toss Alberto over the side. He has already been praised in public by Bush - that's the kiss of death.

9. Sununu is scared to death about the election.
The November elephant massacre has every NH Repub in an absolute panic.

13. Excellent chance it will happen.
When the NH state house has a Dem majority for the first time in nearly a hundred years, this place is becoming an elephant's grave yard.

The Repub Graniteheads weren't just angry at the Beltway (they're always in a snit about DC); they were pissed at the party which betrayed them and their values.

15. I wonder who will be next amonst Repugs? John Ensign?
It's amazing that Sununu with his father's past came out first...even if he's in trouble with his base in NH...it's still IMPRESSIVE!

Is it Poppy's doing?
