1. Oh, I was hoping someone would do this.
Thank you, Andrew Sullivan. And thank you, Alfredo, for posting! My best laugh of the day!

2. You know Ouzo cures Cynicism. His site is really good, even when I don't
agree with him I can enjoy the writing.

6. Ouzo, huh?
Well, the Merlot hasn't been doing the trick of late, so I'll give that a try. Will also check Sullivan's site more often. I do enjoy good writing. Not enough of that these days either, alas!

Blessings!

7. Love Penfold's Merlot. Good and cheap. Ouzo with water and an ice
cube is a nice refreshing drink. Be sure to put the water in before the ice. If you like anise then you will like Ouzo. As much as I like the taste of the brewer's art, I don't like getting drunk.

8. Great photo and more good advice on how to enjoy Ouzo.
I'll check the link, then it's off to the state-controlled liquor store for me! I agree about not getting drunk, though. Been there, done that, not that much fun.

Thanks again. Perhaps soon my sig line will be EX-Tired Old Cynic.

9. Moderation is the key. If I was an addictive personality, I'd steer clear,
but I'm not. I'm the type of person who can make a decision and not look back. Tomorrow if I decided I didn't want to drink booze anymore, I wouldn't. I had a bottle of Bourbon around the house for twenty years. Never touched a drop. I love Bourbon.

4. Ha! He just had a bit of a crush on him at first, kinda like what Tweety
had for Fred Thompson. Andrew got over it.
