Had a pleasant surprise at work yesterday...

I live in a liberal region but my company (aside from a few people) never seemed politically inclined. Either that or I assumed they were repugs, since I never heard Obama's name even brought up. Yesterday in the break room, I said something about how ridiculous McPain's camp was acting (there were only a couple of people in the room, both I knew to be "safe"), and the two started chattering away and agreeing and suddenly more and more people came in and it seemed the room was filled with people who were all talking about how weird sarah and mcpain are and how cool Obama is and they'll be watching the debate and he's just got to win the election, etc. It was very gratifying to learn that there are people there who are "normal."

it's like something popped around here, and if there is any opening people are unloading. Like it's been stored up, and they're letting it all out.

3. Most of my Physician Assisting classmates are staunch Obama supporters.

More than a few members of the faculty are, as well. My Physical Exam instructor is a local volunteer for the campaign. That makes me happy. :-)
