How about this scary scenario
Here is a plausible scenario that will scare the living shit out of you.

Step by step.

(1). McCain-Palin win a razor thin victory in November.

(2). Stock Market crashes and panic sets in causing an economic depression in December.

(3). McCain is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States in January of 2009.

(4) McCain, 72 years old, dies in February of 2009

While the country is fighting two wars and is facing the worst economic catastrophe since 1929, we have President Sarah Palin. At a time when America needs a Lincoln or an FDR, we have some dim-witted pom-pom girl from east bum fuck Alaska. Ask your friends who are voting McCain how they like that scenario?

2. They would rather eat dog food and live
in a pup tent than vote for a Democrat which is insane. We should all apply for our passports if we don't have one already just in case!

7. Funny you should say that.......
5 years ago I married a Filipino national I met in Cambridge Mass. Little did I know, at the time, that my lovely bride and her family owned 22 acres (10 Hectors) of land on the beautiful Island of Ilo-Ilo. We have no children, step-children and hence no grand children. I mention this because I'm not even fighting for me and mine. I'm fighting for the stupid assholes that still eat up the Fox News Repuke propaganda. However, I'm not stupid enough to leave my life in their hands. I have a plan B. We will have our house completed there in March. This was my wife's dream since she was a little girl. I always intended to maybe go there 3 months a year (semi-retire) when I reach retirement age in 10 years (since nobody is going to be able to truly retire).

However, if things get as bad as a worse case scenario can be, I'll be settling in sooner and permanently.

Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 06:29 PM by IanDB1

Guys... and Gals... we have plenty of wolves up in Alaska that need culling, and they're some mighty fine eating. Nobody in America will go hungry. We just need to eat those wolves. So, just get in your private plane and fly up to Alaska and catch yourself some wolf meat. It's delicious. See? Oh, this is GOOD wolf."

9. Ha! That was one of my predictions as well.
But no matter how bizarre we go in our predictions, they'll beat it.

10. RW friend said he won't vote for them due to Palin being second in command to military.
Believes attacking Iraq was right, but was done in the wrong way, has been managed very poorly. Believes should send more to Afghanistan also. But said feels very sorry for anyone in military if they get elected and won't vote for them because of that. Also said is advising people to wait to join military until they see who the commander in chief will be.
